16 years clean and sober. I think my purpose is to be proff of what one man can go through and still remain sober and helping his fellow man.

Didn't post about wreck after all.

A derelict boat that has been in same spot for many years came adrift right after S/V Tranquility said it would! ( coincidence??  Barbarossa:" And it'd strain credulity at that") that old fart thinks the anchorage is his and i wouldn't put much past him. any way we moved ashore soon after. The poor guy lost his boat and I've got a bunch of work i had planned for much later.

Hard Aground!

OK Finally here come the long put off update!
We've "sowlerd yon anchor" as it were and are living ashore since wreck(did i post pics?). ODAT is still afloat but will require major repairs.

We are now living together as a family. working out a lot of kinks because we were Stephen and Dad Vs Mom and Tommy for so long. Still working with Brevard Cares to keep on right track and have a fun and effective case manager. Sorry, cant post a picture or name but she's great! Stephen is still seeing Dr. in Rockledge and is steadily improving. An A student he still seems to think he can go home when he wants, but teachers think otherwise.
Tommy is just amazing now that i have him back! An <I> Intense </> 'LiL monkey hes getting easier to understand and putting sentences together. Ever morning he walks with Mom to school, wednesday and Friday Bubba picks him up dragging me behind on a leash!
Mom is, Well, still Audrey. She has her own story, i wont share it if she doesn't want me to.
Me? I've Barnacles on me legs and arthritis in me bones. As predicted i regained 80% of motion in my left shoulder but only about 60% of strength. Sleeping in this "sleep number" air bed has helped a bunch. It's cool i have a remote control for it even!
Bubba's showing his age but is thrilled to have his own yard to pee in anytime he wants and steadfastly defends it from rouge squirrels.
Stephen and Mom hard at Work :)
Tommy"s Clean well lit space, he hasn't got back from school yet!
It's called a kitchen not the Galley.
I can has PBJ?
Once a Pirate.....

A Captains bed fer me Midshipman??
Tommy's thinking "it's just too clean in here!"
For the captain a bed of air instead of salt soaked foam

burial at sea procedure

Burial at Sea
When conducting a burial at sea, the direction of the wind is of utmost importance. Make sure the ashes will scatter off the stern properly to avoid obvious embarrassment. Tradition calls for the vessel to fly it's flag at half mast, and the following prayer may be used:
"Unto Almighty God we commend the soul of our (brother) (sister) departed, and we commit (his) (her) body to the deep; in sure and certain hope of the resurrection unto eternal life." At the words "commit (his) (her) body to the deep," the person holding the cremated remains then scatters them off the stern of the vessel.

Me take out to hundred fathom and heave me over!

free eng parts anyone?

Well decision has been made for me. have to leave this marina or pay an extra 150 a month and get rid of Stephen.
Man I'm gonna miss A/C and Cable T/v! probably this blog some to hard to find free 4mbs wifi!
So St Augustine or Sebastian? any ideas anyone? bear in mind all i have is an 8hp kicker of unknown reliability. Id like to anchor and save some money to fix all of the kids damages and make it safer for big trip.

Any way I'd like to get this old engine off boat before i go. free parts if you get them through here else i'll part it out and sell on e-bay( i bought manifold for 300) fuel pump good but needs cleaning, injector pump, great injectors served 2010, manifold and riser are from westerbeke(list price over a grand!)
trick is, you have to take it ALL! i'll put on dolly on dock rest is up to you!

wait, wah?

why wont my links show?
"What’s worse than this is even when the plastic is free from outside toxins, its components can potentially wreck your body. Bisphenol A is a compound used in things like Nalgene bottles and dildos. It’s also a synthetic estrogen and can completely derail the reproductive system. Dr. Frederic vom Saal of the University of Missouri has been studying the effects of bisphenol A on lab mice for the past decade and has noticed ties to its exposure with an absurd suite of health problems including low sperm count, prostate cancer, hyperactivity, early-onset diabetes, breast cancer, undescended testicles, and sex reversal. Does the fact that humans can suffer SEX REVERSAL symptoms from inadvertently eating a compound that is used to make dildos qualify as irony?
